T’ai Chi Ch’uan – An Exercise for Life – Beginning T’ai Chi Ch’uan June 19-23, 2023

T’ai Chi Ch’uan – An Exercise for Life – Beginning T’ai Chi Ch’uan June 19-23, 2023

This workshop will teach the First Section of the short Yang form of T’ai Chi Ch’uan as taught by Grandmaster Cheng Man-Ch’ing.

The first section of the form is deep on its own and includes all (but one) of the “essential” movements the full form teaches.

These 5 days will include the teaching of Qi Gong meditations and the T’ai Chi massages that Professor had passed on to us. The First Section is an excellent daily practice for a lifetime.

This 5-day beginning workshop is open to anyone who wants to start learning T’ai Chi Ch’uan as taught by Grandmaster Cheng Man-Ch’ing. It is also open to anyone who knows the First Section and wants to review it. If any student wants to join both workshops — the First Section workshop and continue with the Continuing T’ai Chi Ch’uan workshop, you are very welcome to spend the 12 days in deep practice of TCC and the cost of the Beginning workshop will be reduced by 50%.

Beginning T’ai Chi Ch’uan Workshop: Tuition $500US/Cad equivalent. For any student wanting to take both workshops this Beginning tuition will be $250US/Cad equivalent

Judyth received authorization to teach T’ai Chi Ch’uan from Grandmaster Cheng Man-Ch’ing’s Shr Jung Center for Culture and the Arts in 1971. She was the First Student of Benjamin Pang Jeng Lo in the U.S. She has taught throughout the world, always focusing on the authenticity, purity and simplicity of this short Yang form in order to promote self-help, relaxation, and coordination of body, mind and spirit. In 1974 Judyth created the T’ai Chi Ch’uan program at Naropa Institute. Her careful approach presents T’ai Chi as an integral way of life and as an essential exercise available to anyone.
